PLANNING BOARD – Minutes -- Regular Meeting
7:30 PM The meeting was opened by Chairman Jon Fudeman. Present were: Tom Daly, John Mirick, Ann Neuburg and (in at 7:40) Richard Bisk. Alternate Rud Mason was also present. Board voted all in favor to approve minutes from Feb. 11, 2015.
New Business
Board discussed options regarding site plan review(under Sect. V 1. (C) for a possible antique shop moving into space in the former auto museum/brick building on the Jacobson property. Intensity of such a review depends on the scope of the operation—it may not require a public hearing, just a public meeting. The applicant will need to come to a PB meeting and Jacobson will be contacted.
~Old Business
The board reviewed the three articles for ATM to make sure they are ready for the warrant, and wording in the rationale/explanation section was tweaked for clarification. The public hearing date of April 1has been posted and notice mailed and publication will be in The Landmark March 12 & 19. The first article will add descriptive text to Section XIX “Village Overlay District” that was approved at the May 2014 ATM; the second article will add a new Section XX “Earth Removal” and delete Section VII, 7. “Removal of Earth” and a third will amend Section VI, 1., (D) and (E) by changing the word “structure” to “building.”
Other Business
The board recognized visitor Michael Morgan, 3 Leominster Road, who is considering running for BOS as Neil Sulmasy has declined to run again. Mr. Morgan has the chiropractic office in the Mountainside Market complex.
Administrative Business
Chairman reviewed mail. The board decided that if there is no site plan review applicant coming in on March 18, and nothing else crops up, that meeting could be cancelled.
8:10 PM Board voted all in favor to adjourn.
